Mackenzi Gatzke, PA-C, is a board-certified Advanced Practice Provider in Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine at Spearfish Clinic, North Avenue. Born and raised in Deadwood, Mackenzi received both a Baccalaureate of Medical Biology and a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion. Mackenzi is married to Patrick, who operates the family's farm and ranch. They share three kids with whom they enjoy spending time outdoors, riding horses, hiking, camping, water and snow skiing and working on the family ranch. Mackenzi is also active in coaching youth athletics in the Sturgis community and is an active member of the Days of '76 Committee. Mackenzi loves working in pediatrics and is passionate about taking the time to get to know each unique child she cares for and helping families live well every day.
